Hi! I’m Ash, the illustrator and heart behind Blue Donix.
I’m a Mexican-Guatemalan American artist based in California, and I started this little shop during the pandemic, at a time when the world felt really uncertain. Art became my way of healing, and through it, I found joy, purpose, and connection.

Blue Donix is a reflection of all the soft, sweet, and comforting things that make life a little brighter, from cute characters and cozy stationery to accessories that make you smile. It’s where my original mascots like Wilson, Heart, LA, and the Moo Family were born, and they’ve become like little friends I get to share with you.

Every item in this shop is created with so much love and intention. My hope is that when you receive something from Blue Donix, it brings a bit of light into your day the same way creating it brought light into mine.

I was journaling and I happened to fall upon a new package of Blue Donix stickers and it made me proud to be a Blues.

Blues, the endearment and precious name I've given to my supporters. The bond, friendship and community we've built between us. A way for Blues to communicate interest, build bonds with one another as well as creating a sense of community. Blues are lovely beings and creatures created from realness, true adoration, and lots of silliness and laughter. Their presence although not physical brings me a sense of purpose which I am incredibly grateful for. The Blues Family welcomes you and I hope you enjoy your stay!

As the creator and digital artist behind Blue Donix, my hope is that what I make can bring you comfort, joy, and a little extra color in your life. Whether it’s a smile on a hard day or a sense of belonging, I want Blue Donix to be more than just a shop. I want it to feel like a safe, welcoming space where you are seen and valued.

Even though this is a very small business, my values are big. I do not tolerate any form of prejudice, and I proudly support the LGBTQ+ community and anyone seeking a place to be themselves.
